How do I delete arp on a Mac? I don’t have root privileges as far as I know. I used the command arp -d * that I was given and it won’t delete

Not a Wireshark question so is off-topic.

You can use sudo arp -d -a and then type your password as this is a command that needs elevated priviliges. If your account has administrative rights, then you are allowed to use sudo. If your account does not have admin rights, then you can't clear the arp table.

And if someone is kind enough to send out Gratuitous ARP packets every second you may get them back before you know it. ;-)
