I can't see a PSH, ACK for each segment as I studied in class

  • retag add tags

Hi,

I am doing my homeworks of TCP and I need to write the interaction on this protocol and transport layer. But i can't see a PSH, ACK interaction as the example of my teacher. https://i.gyazo.com/32fab3755fb07ca26... he get's a packet with flags PSH, ACK for every segment. And in mines I don't get this. https://i.gyazo.com/29b3986871fdaf73b...

I need for this exercise to get a packet PSH, ACK in every segment sent.

I am looking forward to hearing from you, I'll be very grateful if you help me.

Best wishes, David

This is normal. Setting the Push bit is not mandatory and most packets will not have the Push bit set.
