Why doesn't Wireshark recognize all of the Ethernet network adapters?

  • retag add tags

I have 3 Ethernet network adapters on my PC and when I startup Wireshark, it only recognizes 2 of them and the third one is missing from the list. The one I need to capture data from is the one missing, so how do I correct this problem?

My guess is that you are using the npcap driver for this. You can go to https://nmap.org/npcap/and get the latest one yourself.

As no further details have been included that is about all the help you can expect at this moment.
