WLAN Pi Supported Hardware - "no longer producing the NEO2 board" maybe start here and see what others have come up with to replace it.

Looks like some of the GL-inet routers support PoE

What is the sustained and burst bandwidth that you need to capture? How much storage will you need, based on the average bandwidth and retention time?

What is the budget?

Some options from cheap to expensive (and more functionality):

  • GL-inet AR150 PoE
  • Hak5 Packet Squirrel (needs external PoE adapter)
  • Raspberry Pi with PoE hat
  • Allegro Network multimeter Model 200 (150x81 mm, so too large, but wanted to mention it anyways)
  • Profitap IOTA (slightly larger: 4.13 x 4.88 x 1.5 in)

I would think of a Raspberry PI wit POE HAT. If you need another interface you may need to add more hardware.
