How do I make the language setting different from the system language setting?

Hi,

I am working in Germany and installed Wireshark couple of times. But everytime it comes up with German interface. An there is no language setting under From the Edit (Bearbeiten) menu, -> Preferences (Einstellung), in the Appearance (Darstellung) item (or Ctrl + Shift + P), the bottom droplist sets the Language (Sprache). Could you please advise what to do

Can you confirm that you have the "Language" or "Sprache" setting, but there are no entries in the droplist?

What is your OS and Wireshark version?

Hi, I have also installed Wireshark in Germany, and had the same problem. You are on the right way: Go to Bearbeiten / Einstellungen / Darstellung - right bottom is a droplist Sprache, choose Englisch and click OK. It will immediately change to English.

Pour passer du Français à l'Anglais : Si vous avez un Windows en Français et que vous souhaitez utiliser Wireshark en anglais, aller à l'onglet "Editer", dans la liste déroulante correspondante, sélectionner la ligne "Préférence", la fenêtre "Préférence" s'ouvre, s'il y a lieu dans la liste de gauche sélectionner "Appearence", vous pouvez alors changer la "langue" de "French" à "English".
