Possible timeout waiting for retransmitted packets

Hi Guys,

I have a situation where the WAN (MPLS) drops a bunch of consecutive packets. After some dup-acks, retransmission begins as expected for around 10 packets with a delta time of 123-124 microseconds between each (info: RTT for this communications is around 5 msec). But, the server wait around 371 miliseconds after the last retransmission to continue the stream. Does this delay may impact or cause a timeout for the client side of this exchange ? Info: I saw the push flag 3 packets later which indicated the end of the http 1.1 object transfer. May I conclude to a success of this HTTP transfer or if the previous delay may cause a timeout ?

Regards,

Ben
