On the one hand you state you want your own custom interface added, on the other it should read from the loopback adapter which is already there. Please elaborate what you want to do.
Also, add your Wireshark Help -> About Wireshark information, as you don't indicate, among other things, what platform you're running Wireshark on or what capture driver is relevant here.
