wireshark capture information pop up

  • retag add tags

since v3.x there appears after every start a very annoying pop up with title "wireshark capture information" and some graphs. How can I disable it for ever? Thank you. I don't want to revert to wireshark 2.9x, which does not annoy me :-)

This is something hidden in your configuration. Go to the preferences, select the 'Advanced' section, and search for capture.show_info. This is probably set to TRUE. Double click it to set it to false and try again.

Note that the default for this setting is FALSE, so @pendler must have enabled it themselves, or via a copied profile.
