Analyzing Packets from Amazon Echo

Hello,

I am trying to analyze packets from an Amazon Echo using Wireshark. I have isolated the device (Amazon Echo Tap) and my PC as the only two devices connected to a Wi-Fi network. When I turn on Wireshark to begin transferring packets, there is traffic that is recorded on the screen, but when I go to do a search based on the MAC address of the Echo device, it comes up blank. I even tell Alexa commands while I am capturing packets, but a search still results in a blank screen. Is there anything I have to do or configuration I need to change to be able to see packet traffic from an Amazon Echo?

Any assistance will be appreciated. Thank you!

Capturing WiFi traffic can be difficult, especially using Windows. See the wiki page on WLAN capture setup for more information.
