Wireshark kills VMware workstation bridged VMs

I run VMWare workstation. When I install Wireshark my VM, using bridged mode, lose access to the LAN. Is there a way to prevent this?

You will need to provide more information (ideally by editing your post).

Like the info you get from entering tshark -v in a terminal (You can also copy + paste the info from Wireshark > About in the GUI)

Expand on what "lose access to the LAN" means and what that looks like
Go into detail about the steps you use to get to the problem state
