How to remove remote interfaces

  • retag add tags

I have performed remote captures, and now every time I go to manage interfaces to add another for a remote capture, I receive an error for every single remote interface I have captured from in the past. Is there a file that stores all of these addresses that I could edit to remove them so wireshark doesn't try to retrieve them every time i want to add a new remote interface? The error code is 10061

Close Wireshark, Goto %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Wireshark and edit the recent_common file. Just remove the necessary recent.remote_host: lines and save the file.
