WireShark with WiFi adapter not working

not capturing packets with office computer? I have been trying to capture packets with the office computer for several days now. Is there something that I am missing? The office computer uses an external USB wifi adapter (TP-Link-Archer T9UH) to access the router. I am new to WireShark and need assistance to get this to work for a networking class I am taking. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

I also did not recognize this USB adapter. Product returned because it can not be used
