Decoding Gi traffic

  • retag add tags

Hello

I am unable to decode Gi traffic from wireshark. I doubt i might have set protocols properly. Please suggest decoding Gi traffics(GTP tunnels) used in telecommunications.

There is a GTP dissector for the current version of Wireshark, but there isn't one for Gi. I don't know that kind of traffic well enough to be able to help in more detail. Is this GTP over UDP that you're trying to analyze?

Yes telecommunication uses GTP tunnels over UDP which is not decoded in my case with wireshark default setting.

From the screen shot only Ethernet is decoded, what is the ethertype?
