Wireshark and Diameter interface (Ro/Rf/Gy...)

  • retag add tags

Hi all,

New to both Wireshark and Diameter.

I am provided with a tcpdump trace for a Diameter interface and am told it is for the "Ro" interface. Question is, had I not known where and which Diameter interface was captured, is there a standard way to tell which diameter interface one is working with based on some information in Wireshark, AVP's, etc? In other words, how would I tell this trace is for Ro and not for Gy for example?
