When installing Wireshark 4.1.0 x64 it fails

Error code:

The Visual C++ Redistributable installer failed with error -214074890. Unable to continue installation.

What previous version of Wireshark did you install? If not, are you running in 64 bit mode?

This has come up occasionally, usually because there's an issue on the target system that prevents the installation of the C++ redistributable.

Unfortunately these things are difficult to fix, especially as there doesn't seem to be a description of what that error code means.

Hi I previously installed 4.08 and 3.6.16. I am running in 64 bit mode. I will rebuild my Laptop and let you know how I get on. Thanks
