Adding IP Phone address to trace test

Hello,

We are having issues with our phones and computers when we run the following configuration: wall ethernet port > NEC IP Phone > Computer.

We tried to do a packet trace test to catch when the phone was crashing the computers internet. After the trace was complete I couldn't find any IP's pertaining to the IP phone. Any help is appreciated!

If you take measurements on the PC then all traffic towards the phone will be absent by design.

You must use a span port on your switch to capture traffic.
