Unknown NdisMedium value 12, defaulting to DLT_EN10MB

  • retag add tags

As soon as I attempt to capture packets I get a popup with the following Warning: Warning: Unknown NdisMedium value 12, defaulting to DLT_EN10MB Then nothing... no output whatsoever.

I tried uninstalling npcap and reinstalling, but I can't reinstall because I get another error which says it is still running.

This is a WinPcap/Npcap issue; it shows up in Wireshark because that's what Wireshark uses for packet capture. It should be filed on the Npcap issue list.

Please indicate on which interface ou were trying to capture.
