Capture wired traffic through wireless network?

If the device running Wireshark is connected to a combination router/modem via a wireless LAN and other devices are directly connected to the router/modem via ethernet, can Wireshark sniff packets sent to and from the ethernet connections?

Capturing wired to wireless is tricky if you think about the bandwith. You can run sustained 1 gb/s both ways on a decent ethernet cable. Not something wireless will be able to match.

No that's not a thing for switched implementations like this. You would need to employ router native capture functions for that.
