[PSH, ACK] after [FIN, ACK]

  • retag add tags

Wireshark 4.0.1 complains about the order of [PSH, ACK] after [FIN, ACK] and also makes my mac send a duplicate ACK. Is the server behaving badly, or?

Here is an image https://snipboard.io/wJTfB7.jpg

Thanks!

The order of packets is .... unexpected. I would say the screenshot should should speak for itself. It seems you need to dig into the packets a bit more and see if you can take measurements on other places in the path between client and server.
