Websites cannot be loaded - Wifi problem?

  • retag add tags

Hallo,

users did encounter some strange problem where some websites cannot be loaded with their iPad whereas the same sites can be loaded with another device.

First of all, I would like to know if there are any serious problems inside the network.

You find attached a network trace of the router's wifi interface. I see some TCP Retransmission packets but I'm not sure if they indicate some serious problem.

My question is: at a first glance is there any indication for some serious wifi issues?

I would say too many Selective Acknowledgement packets. At least for a link between multiple public IP addresses.

Thanks. Could you give me a hint how to identify SACK packets? I searched for "sack" in the trace but I'm not quite sure how to identify those packets.
