Are you installing the latest version of Wireshark? Wireshark is a very old version of Wireshark.

Wireshark is a very old version of Wireshark.

Presumably meaning "1.10 is a very old version of Wireshark".

Not entirely sure what "Wincap" is either. Maybe the OP meant WinPcap, which is also obsolete.

I got it to work it was that I had to turn off windows defender. Defender was blocking all files, but also found out that defender will turn back on and will not notify you as well. I think that I have to find away to include a rule not to turn off defender while wireshark is turn on.

I've never had to turn off Defender on hosts that run it and Wireshark. Sounds like something else is up with your environment.
