wireless packet capture in windows using a macbook (boot camp)

  • retag add tags

I couldn't find anything when I've searched. Has anyone gotten monitor mode to work for wireshark on a macbook using boot camp for windows 10?

I can force the wireless adapter to monitor mode using wlanhelper.exe but wireshark doesn't see any packets being captured.

I've tried using winpcap, win10pcap, pncap.

HI!

Im using a 27" Imac with Windows 10 and I got 3 Wlan and 1 Ethernet connected with Wireshark and its working just fine! Sometime Wireshark cant find any adapters, then i just reinstall WinPcap413 (WITHOUT REBOOT) Just start Wireshark when WinPcap413.exe installation is finished.

I hope it will help u!

Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me which iMac model you have and which NIC it has?
