Restrict Wireshark to GNS3 on host computer?

Is it possible to restrict Wireshark packet capture to GNS3 projects on the host computer? GNS3 is used in a school's lab computers, also installed is Wireshark which accompanies the GNS3 installation. Although there's Kerberos, ssh, https, etc to secure traffic associated with the clients; I'd like to tighten the reach of packet capture ability on these lab clients.

I'm not aware of any method to restrict Wireshark's capture capability to only GNS3. If a capture library/driver (e.g., libpcap, Npcap, WinPcap, ...) is installed and the user has sufficient privileges, then as far as I'm aware, capturing is always possible from all recognized interfaces.
