Hi, in wireshark, for nfapi packets we are getting tx request first and then dl config request packets, and also packets are not proper some time delay is there between mib and sib packets?

In wireshark, we are capturing packets for nfapi (MIB and SIB). But there is some time in the order of packets. Also the information is not proper. E.g. In MIB packet, we are getting SIB information and after some time in all packets we are getting MIB contents.

Hi Rasika,

I'm not sure what you want to know here. Are you looking to troubleshoot latency or jitter in your implementation? Are you puzzled because you are seeing packets you believe are out of order?

I'm not even sure what nfapi (Network Functional API?) is. If this is related to LTE/5G then there may be a change in the way the MIB/SIB are sent to UE in 5G.

Also, where exactly are you taking the capture? Did you try capturing at the "client" (UE?) and "server" (eNB/RAN?) at the same time?

Cheers, JFD
