Destination sometimes not loading
Hi everyone sorry for the noob question ^^
I am putting a presentation together at school on the importance of privacy online. I want to use omegle as an example on how fast it is to find I.P addresses and I want to use wireshark for this
My problem comes when I load up omegle and then wireshark. Sometimes I am able to get the I.P address but other times in destination there is a long character address and I can not get the I.P address even if I restart the program. Can someone please help me what I'm doing wrong? Thank you and sorry for bad English ^^

What do you mean with "character address"? Do you have an example? I would guess that you've enabled the name resolution for network addresses, which will show you the DNS name of the IP address if available. You can disable it in the menue (View -> Name Resolution -> Resolve Network Addresses). Or you're talking about IPv6 addresses, but in this case the source address must be a "character address" as well.
