This is a pretty impossible question. Not a clue on what Operating System you are running on. What sort of interface you are trying to capture on. So don't expact an answer without posing a well documented question.

Putting the OS and version only in a tag is not a good idea; I've updated the subject line to note it as well.

I'm also having the same issue with an Intel Wireless-AC 9560 160MHz on Windows 10 20H2. For some reason the 'monitor mode' option is just a dash and if I double click on it it turns into a text input box. Also Wireshark seems to think the driver is by Microsoft, which is not the case since I just installed an up-to-date one from my motherboard manufacturer and Device Manager indicates it was published by Intel. Not sure if Qamber is in the same scenario though.

If you were able to capture in monitor mode with Windows10, I consider you fortunate. I suspect this is an npcap issue not related to Wireshark. Have you looked at the npcap list of issues in GIT?

Of course this is assuming you are using npcap, but I don't see where it mentions the capture library so one can only guess. Also, that adapter is discontinued, per Intel, so not sure you would get much traction from many groups to actually try to fix it if it is determined that the issue is interface specific. From the Intel page, it is not even supported on Win10.

Please report this to the npcap folks at their github issues page so that whatever changes they have made in recent builds can be looked at.
