Wireshark only showing me 3 digit ips [closed]

Hi. I'm VERY new at using wireshark and only have a basic understanding of the most basic layer of the program's functions. I am trying to learn how to pull my friends' IP from discord, for some reason she is really fascinated with this. I have learned to go to my ethernet settings and uncheck a certain box, (I have forgotten what the setting was called) and I have filtered the results with udp, and I have made the capture filter IPv4 only. I had a conversation with my friend while it was running but Wireshark only captured ip's that start with 3 digits, which are either private or not my friend's IP. Is there a step I am missing or that I may have done wrong? Thanks.

If Discord works by routing all communications through their servers, you won't see your friend's IP, you'll just see the IP of the Discord server (and she won't see your IP address, she'll only see the IP of the Discord server).
