Windows 10 - No Interfaces found

How come I cannot see my Ethernet adapter? Using Version 3.0.3. It just says "No Interfaces found." I used the default installation options, and installed Nccap. I don't have nmap installed on this computer. Any helped much appreciated.

Have you tried with a more current version of Wireshark (now at 3.2.5) and npcap (now at 0.9995)?

Feature updates to Windows 10, e.g. the recent 2004 can upset the npcap integration. Usually a re-install of npcap using the latest version from npcap.org will fix things up.

As noted by @Chuckc your version of Wireshark may also be worth updating.

open a command prompt (run as Administrator), and type "sc query npcap"

If the STATE shows it is stopped, type the following: "sc start npcap"

Next, either restart wireshark, or refresh the interfaces by pressing F5 or clicking on "refresh interfaces" under the Capture menu.
