Wireshark don't capture filters

Hello everyone! I have Wireshark installed on my pc and also on a virtual linux machine. I'm starting to learn hacking and neither on the linux virtual machine, nor on macos catalina does wireshark have results, that is, captured filters. The wifi en0 is active but does not capture anything! Is it an error when updating catalina, problems with wireshark or problems with my pc? What does anyone know?

All this just works, so there is something specific with your installation. Amend the question with more system details. Also go look for questions relating to access_bpf.
