npcap is broken. What do I do?

If it's not a Wireshark issue, who can help me with npcap issues?

Good news!
There is now a separate issues section for npcap.

Npcap issues are now tracked on their own Github Issues
page, separate from Nmap issues. Many existing
issues have been migrated, and issue numbers may have changed.

https://github.com/nmap/npcap/issues/ or http://issues.npcap.org/

(some of the more senior Q&A gurus can clean this up but wanted to get it in the archives)

Of course, expecting new folks to actually read this is a bit of a longshot.

They seem to get here. Not sure how to make them drink. :-)

And, when filing an issue, give it a reasonably descriptive title (for example, "npcap causes my VPN not to work", not "npcap isn't working"). That, of course, applies to all bug databases; the more detail the report provides, the more information there is for the developers to use when they try to determine the cause of the problem.

Also, if you're not running the latest version of Npcap, try updating. The npcap Web site indicates the latest version and makes it available to download.
