Guys hit me up if you want a donation and/or a spare server that can serve more than 30ko/s.

Can you give some more context?

what do you mean? Wireshark is a network tool yet the download server's stuck at a quarter of a megabit per second. Considering it does not seem to host anything large (and i doubt there are many concurrent downloads), im wondering what kind of host this is.

Let us know what file and which download host you're using, there are many of them?

You seem to be making a lot of assumptions.

When I downloaded the "Wireshark Latest Intel64.dmg" file from 2.na.dl.wireshark.org - a North American site, as per the "na" - at 01:36:30 UTC, I got about 580 KB/s. When I downloaded it from 1.eu.dl.wireshark.org, a site in the Netherlands, I got about 510 KB/s - 550 KB/s at 01:36:50 UTC.

There are a lot of network hops between you and the server, so there is no guarantee that it's the server's problem.
