How can we write a batch file to start wireshark and select a particular device in "Device" drop down list
Hi, I have one more question. Can any one let me know how to write a script/batch file to invoke wireshark and select a particular device(MAC ID) in the "Device" drop down list of wireshark window and then start capturing.
One more thing,, how to start capturing through command line if the wireshark is opened and not yet started capturing. (I need a commands to select a particular device(MAC ID) in the "Device" drop down list and to "Start capture"). Can anyone help me out pls...

What do you mean by "MAC ID"? Do you mean you want to invoke Wireshark and have it start capturing on the interface with the MAC address in question? Or would some other way to specify which interface you want be OK?
