Window is huge!

Odd thing here. I am re-purposing an old 32 Bit Mac just to run some captures from time to time at a remote location. I grabbed the newest 32-bit version and while it installs and runs, the window is massively long and you can't shrink it. You can shrink it from bottom up but not left-right. And, of course, you can make it even bigger! I tried a bunch of stuff, ruled out zooming issues, tried it on a second old Mac, same issue. Clicking the green button only resets bottom-top, not left-right. Tried even older versions, still the same issue. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Click on the app window then hold option + shift and drag the mouse to try and resize the window. Also, try looking at resolution of your screen, especially if it's the same monitor used on both Mac. (Try another monitor)

Appreciate the response. The results are that 'option + shift' seems to have no effect at all. Also I should have mentioned that this is an old iMac so no other monitors involved.

If possible have you tried another (smaller) resolution?
