How to play RTP Events PCAPs (RFC 2833 DTMF's)?

Is there a way to do it in Wireshark (or other opensource SW for that matter)?

Currently not without some heavy scripting, but I'm curious what would be the use case? The best way to assess audio quality is to listen to it, but that is not the case for DTMF.

I suspected that's the case, I was puzzled as well but evidently there is added value for listening to DTMFs in RTP events. Thanks for responding.

Playing the RTP RFC2833 you will see and hear a tick sound

You can filter off the rtpevent then down in packet display open the RFC 2833 RTP event and you can see the volume level 0 to -10 db is the best level ''
